The ATA Tiger program was developed specifically for preschool-age children ages 3 through 6 and is designed to be accessible to students of all abilities and genders. This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline. In addition, the program is designed to improve children's motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions. This curriculum should provide students with the most fun and exciting training methods available for this age group.
The rank and testing system used by the Tigers is slightly different than others as well. Tigers can earn eight collectible animal patches to display on their uniforms as follows: Turtle for white belt; Tiger for orange belt; Cheetah for yellow; Lion for camo; Eagle for green; Phoenix for purple; Dragon for blue; Cobra for brown; Panther for red.
ATA Martial Arts Kids is a specialized program created exclusively for children ages 7 through 12 and teaches the fundamentals of martial arts. The foundation of the Martial Arts Kids curriculum is the education and development of life skills such as discipline, respect, and self-esteem. With those life skills, students gain a positive mental attitude, learn to set goals and gain confidence in themselves.
ATA Martial Arts Kids training is designed to be fun and fulfilling for each student. This is because Taekwondo is an individual activity rather than a team sport. Therefore, every student is an active and valuable participant in class. They work out with kids their own age and progress at their own pace.

The ATA Martial Arts curriculum program is customized for adult men and women. Unlike a children's program, our adult programs focus on high-intensity fitness and real self-defense that applies in today's world, accommodating students no matter their ability.
Most adults can only do so many aerobic classes or run so many solo miles before they start dreaming of something more enjoyable and exciting to do to stay in shape. The ATA Adult martial arts curriculum is a great way to stay in shape that doesn't become dull or routine because as soon as you get better and learn more there are always more challenges ahead to keep you inspired and coming back to the school.
Men and women often join to for the ability to take care of oneself in any potentially dangerous, or uncomfortable situation, even though most of our adults seldom, if ever, get into a fighting situation. They often find themselves, however, in an uncomfortable situation, such as walking to their car late at night, or escorting their spouse or friend in a less than secure neighborhood. It's at times like this that martial arts training greatly enhances your ability to really take care of yourself, or someone you care for, when the time arises.
These fitness based martial arts for adults classes will help you reach your stated goals. Running and mountain biking are still great activities, but if that's all you do for your fitness you may end up limiting your flexibility.
